The breathtaking beauty of an Arizona sunset is famed, far and wide. A quiet walk along the trails of the Sonoran Desert when such a vision is before you, is something you'll never forget.
This digital hand painting was created in Rebelle, Corel Painter and Photoshop using the lines of a photo I took in April of 2009 when I was visiting near Tucson, AZ. (I must say, we get some pretty spectacular sunsets here in the Shenandoah Valley of West Virginia, too!!) The day I took the Arizona photo was a bright and sunny blue-sky morning … and the idea for changing it into a sunset scene is from a class I recently took from Corel Painter Master, Karen Bonaker.
This image was not created using Artificial Intelligence / AI. It's Human-Made Art!
Fine art purchases of this image as well as products will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
About Lois Bryan
Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US.
Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others where there's always something new to discover and learn. I also love working completely freehand with no photo reference involved. All of which is allowing me to circle back to a semblance of my days of sketching and painting traditionally.
I do not use Artificial Intelligence programs in my work. It's all...
