A hard working honey bee is busily gathering nectar from one of the coreopsis flowers in my garden.

A wonderful little honey bee, enjoying the fun little yellow coreopsis in my garden last summer. Original photographic image taken with the then-new D7000 and the 105mm Nikon / Nikkor micro/macro lens. Editing and experimenting in several Photoshop versions, Capture NX2 and a lovely texture from 2 Lil Owls.
The original image is the companion piece to "Send The Bees Love."
