Description
At the base of a magnificent hidden waterfall, somewhere in the depths of the untamed and unknown parts of the Shenandoah Valley, is a quiet, turquoise pool. One of Mother Nature's many surprises for those very, very few humans who have managed to stumble upon it. It's a temporary resting place for the sparkling, crystal tributary waters of the Shenandoah, flowing down from the Blue Ridge Mountains to join the Potomac at Harper's Ferry. Though at the moment, no deer or bunnies are here to drink, the pool is a popular meeting ground for wildlife for miles around. As a source of drink or cooling, it's a vital part of their world.
"Splashy" is a closer view (and slightly tinkered with / enhanced version) of a previously uploaded image which is also available here, "Lost Waterfall," which tells in greater detail the story of the waterfall itself.
Painted freehand, digitally, completely from my imagination in Corel Painter with a Wacom tablet and art pen stylus, utilizing many beautiful brushes.
NOT created with AI - Artificial Intelligence.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation … wall art purchases of this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
