Watermarks will never appear on purchased products.
With the powerful steel-muscle and contemporary-design-drama of the Millennium Bridge to our right, stairs and handrail draw our eye to a view of the classic magnificence of St. Paul's Cathedral.
Built in the late 17th century in the English Baroque style by Sir Christopher Wren, the cathedral stands on Ludgate Hill at the highest point in the City of London. It is the second largest church in Britain, with a dome described as the finest in the world.
The Millennium Bridge, though originally opened in June of 2000, was quickly nicknamed "Wobbly Bridge" by visitors due to unexpected lateral vibration and was closed two days later. It re opened 2 years later, after structural repairs were completed.
This image is a great study in contrasts ... in colors as well as in architectural styles. I feel as if we're watching the present and the past collide. Captured by my son Rich Bryan in 2012 during his semester abroad, I enjoyed editing his original photograph to give it a unique and interesting painterly look.
This image was hand painted, digitally, in Corel Painter using one of my own exclusive photos (not from stock or public domain) as a starting point.
Fine art purchases of this image as well as products will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
