Artist's Description
A brilliant green cornfield, the stalks already beginning to tassel at the ends, waves lazily under the summer sunshine. A drive through the heart of the Laurel Highlands in Central PA , USA, brings visual gem after visual gem. The sapphire blues of the skies, the ruby reds of the barns, the golden fields and the emerald hills and crops … all are a delight and the picture perfect examples of a summer's day in the country.
This image was hand painted in Corel Painter (not Ai) from one of my own photos (not stock or public domain), and is a cropped version of an old favorite, The Red Barn on Burnt House Road, which is also available here.
Fine art as well as product purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."

Please be aware that we are currently experiencing a glitch in our system. The images in...
