A beautiful golden field bathed in the warm late day sunshine in rural Maryland, USA. Captured on a summer's afternoon in July of 2012 with the Nikon D300 and the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens. A lovely texture from Florabella added in Photoshop CS5.
About Lois Bryan
Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence. I also love working completely freehand with no photo reference involved. All of which is allowing me to circle back to a semblance of my days of sketching and painting traditionally. Thanks so much, Mona!!! Actually, just to the right of this spot was a bluebird box ... WITH ... bluebirds!!! So I stood there for what seemed like ages trying to get a decent shot of the male. And while he was hiding at some point I turned around and snapped this lovely field ... the light was really perfect. Never did get a keeper of a shot of Birdie ... but I did like the way the field turned out.
