Description
A brilliant sunflower, teased by the slanting sunbeams of a fall afternoon, catches light and shadow as she stands tall among her brothers and sisters in the Virginia field. Absorbing the warmth and reflecting it back so prettily, she will soon take another step on her life journey, providing juicy seeds to many backyard-feeder birdies (and maybe a squirrel or two!). Thus she will fulfill her life's journey from beauty to purpose. May we all live as useful a life.
I was inspired by my own photo (which is not from stock or public domain) to loosely sketch then digitally paint this sweetie freehand with my favorite watercolor paints in Rebelle. From there, artistic license and creative play took over.

Fine art purchases of this image as well as products will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."

Remember on all submissions to me for future featuring, must have a description along with them, beside just the title and what groups have featured your works. Things that viewers would be interested in would be where, when, why, what, etc. So no submission will have a chance of being featured if it includes only the title. You Must have a one or two sentence description of your submission.
