A look at just some of the beauty that surrounded and welcomed us during our visit to the Greek Islands. I have to admit, I'm not absolutely sure if the location of this one is Santorini or Mykonos, but I do think it's Santorini, plus, I liked the alliteration of the words sunny and Santorini together. Santorini was indeed a beautifully sunny location.
The foreground, if you look closely, shows a bright white cement half-wall that conceals a broad and welcoming staircase up to the building above. The overhanging bougainvillea to the left is actually trailing around a perfectly placed architectural pillar.
If you get the chance to visit the Mediterranean area, I hope you'll visit Greece's lovely islands ... nothing like them, anywhere!!

Another one I've never seen before. This is pure eye candy to me especially with the beautiful bougainvillea that are on the top list of my favorite flowers. If this isn't watercolor, it certainly looks like it is.
