This is the kind of scene many would walk right past and never notice, but your keen eye zeroed in on a photo-worthy subject, and captured it nicely! I especially like that the scene has such realism to it, with the dirty, trudged in, snow around the skis. Great editing, too. The color in the skis really pops! v

The skiers at Blue Knob Mountain in Claysburg, PA take a break from the fun on the slopes, lining up their colorful gear and heading indoors for hot chocolate, pizza, beer, burgers and ... in my case ... Irish coffee!! Image taken 12/28/12 with the Nikon D300 and the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens. HDR from a single image in Photomatix Pro, blended in Photoshop CS4 and 5.

Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence.
