As day draws to a close and the sun takes her leave of us for awhile, a stroll through the quiet of this magical dusky time can be healing. The cares of the day will, for a few moments, draw back and ease as we feel ourselves becoming one with the beauty all around us.
This is a fun, artistic interpretation of one of my favorite places to walk my doggie, Buddy. We do get some amazing sunsets here in the Shenandoah Valley.
Digitally hand painted in Rebelle with oil, acrylic and pastel brushes and using one of my own original photos (not form stock or public domain) as a loose base and guide and includes a generous helping of imagination. The photo was taken in my own community in the magnificent Shenandoah Valley of West Virginia.
