Description
The sun finally began doing its duty, one wintry February afternoon, and the drips and drops and snaps and cracks of the ice-bound trees slowing losing their silvery coverings turned into a show of liquid light. The glow from the west was not warm and golden ... but it was enough to get the thaw started. Of course everything froze again that night ... but ... eventually winter ended and spring began. Just as it always does.
