Description
A line of trees stands guard at cliff's edge in the pre dawn moments of the blue hour. The old girls have been snowed on, rained on and icy winds have whipped them without mercy. But as the sun rises and begins his job of burning off the mists they whisper together ... tree secrets ... and smile with joy. At the edge of the world the top of the mountain catches the light first .... and the trees never tire of the magic of the everyday.
Painted freehand digitally from my imagination in Corel Painter with a Wacom tablet and art pen stylus, utilizing many beautiful brushes. Though imaginary,The Blue Hour was inspired by the amazing beauty we see on top of Blue Knob Mountain in Claysburg, PA.

Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
