Artist's Description
I'd like to dedicate this to our friends in Japan for their generosity of spirit and to let them know they're in our hearts and prayers during these troubling times in the aftermath of the tsunami.
A quick trip down into Washington DC to the tidal basin yesterday early morning (3/27/2011) to see if we could get some shots of the snow on the cherry blossoms, but all I really got was watery eyes, a runny nose and frozen fingers ... that is until the sun came out. THEN it got pretty!!!
Image taken with the Nikon D300 and the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens. Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... it will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."

Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence.
