Description
Description:"The Juvenile" ... all the promise of youth ...
A powerful juvenile American Bald Eagle ... not yet grown into his stately mature costume ... cruises the skies above Conowingo Dam in Northern Maryland. Though he's still a youngster, he's an inspiring sight!
A compilation of two of my images, the sky and the eagle, both captured with my Nikon D300. The eagle was captured with the Sigma 150-500mm OS lens, and the sky with the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens, combined with a few light textures in Photoshop CS4 and a bit of hand painting / tinkering in Corel Paint 11.

Peggy, thanks so much ... I am hearing they're back and active again and hope to get up there shortly. My goal is to get a good fishing shot .. have several but from too far away. This requires patience ... uhoh!!!
