Digital Art - Digital Art / Photography Based Digital Hand-painting
A stroll through the beautiful Azalea Gardens at Brighton Dam in Montgomery County Maryland on a sunny May day is always magical. The vision of brilliant whites and corals and pinks and scarlets of the azaleas, the deep greens of the grasses and trees and the slanting peek a boo of the sun is like walking through a dream. Keeping to the well manicured paths is the way to experience the park your first few times. But once you've maxed out a couple of your camera's memory cards, you might find yourself wandering down a couple of meandering paths, down to the gently lapping waters of Tridelphia Lake. The colors and light and peacefulness of the scenes around you are something you'll always remember ... dreaming or awake.
Image hand-painted, digitally, and very loosely based on one of my own photos. Painted in Corel Painter with a Wacom tablet, the art pen, and lots of beautiful brushes.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
