Description
One of my favorite spots on the way to Blue Knob Mountain (All Seasons Resort) in Claysburg, Pa. To the right of this particular section of the road is Chappel Field which gives a beautiful panorama of the valley beyond (a good pic of, I've yet to capture) ... but in Autumn, as you can see, is beautiful in and of itself. Our Autumn this year has been somewhat dull, so I dove into the archives and found this image, taken in October of 2012, with the Nikon D300 and the 18-200vr Nikkor lens.

Very lovely Fall image, Lois! That was very clever of you to refer back to latter years of prettier Fall foliage, too! Because of the rain shortage and the unusual heat here in East Tenneesse, we are just seeing many of the leaves on the trees fall off before we get to enjoy their leaves changing first! Fave! L/F/FB!
