Description
Another view of one of the quaint stone cottages on the grounds of Beallair Mansion, once home to Lewis Washington, nephew of George Washington. Taken recently, April, 2017, as spring opens her arms with warmth and the most amazing light, encouraging blooms and green grass and leaves on the trees. After a dull and colorless winter, Spring is always welcome.
The cottage has been the subject of more than one of my previous images here. It is always charming, from whatever angle and whatever time of year.
For more on the pretty cool backstory of the Beallair Mansion, check out my blog: http://1stangel.co.uk/loisbryanphotography/a-peacock-at-beallair/
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."

Amazing lighting! Somehow, the contrast makes me feel as though a storm is coming in, which is always thrilling. l/f
