Description
A twisty old tree, a bit battered from the effects of the years he's watched come and go, stands beside a quiet country lane. I can't help wondering what he's seen in all those years ... what he's heard ... and what he remembers. Though he's pretty much rooted to the spot, I have a feeling he's a wise old tree ... and that he's lived a good, full life. And he could probably tell a good story or two, if only he would.
He's from my imagination (when I doodle, I seem to doodle trees) but in a way he represents all the forests I've rambled, the fields I've skipped through, the creeks I've ruined my shoes in, the ocean waves that have knocked me flat, the country lanes I've wandered, and the cities and towns I've explored. There are places I remember ... not the least of which might be a twisty old tree ... standing somewhere along a quiet country lane.
This image was painted freehand digitally from my imagination in Corel Painter with a Wacom tablet and art pen stylus, utilizing many beautiful brushes. It was not created by using AI - Artificial Intelligence programs.
Fine art and product purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
