Description
A trip to the beautifully reconstructed structures found at Old Bedford Village in Bedford, PA will usually include some surprises. On a visit there in August of 2009 a group of artists were in residence creating masterpieces of woven baskets, wooden buckets, and throwing pots. I was fascinated by the speed of the whirling pottery wheel and the artist's ability to control the slippery clay. Cups and mugs and bowls lined the shelves, all created by hand. Each unique and beautiful! Truly an afternoon spent back in another time!
If interested, Old Bedford Village's website can be accessed here:

Image hand-painted, digitally, and very loosely based on one of my own photos. Painted in Corel Painter with a Wacom tablet, the art pen, and lots of beautiful brushes.
NOT created by using AI - Artificial Intelligence.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
