A beautiful barn or stable tucked away somewhere in charming Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia ... richly framed with waving green trees, golden sunshine and cooling shadows on a summer afternoon.
One of the best things about Williamsburg is just the fun of walking around ... everywhere you look there's a scene of loveliness. The placement of the houses and little barns and outbuildings, the winding tree-lined streets, even the way the light falls ... there are so many magical surprises as we stroll along the old roads and byways and into history.
This image is hand-painted, digitally, and very loosely based on one of my own exclusive and original photographic images. Created in Corel Painter with a variety of brushes with a Wacom tablet and the art pen.
