A timely scene during these hectic days of campaigning and pre-election activities (May, 2016), this view of the Capitol of the United States includes a very key element to the true strength and worth of our Great Nation ... her Citizens. I decided to name this one "We The People" for just that reason.
Here's what Wikipedia has to say about the building:
The original building was completed in 1800 and was subsequently expanded, particularly with the addition of the massive dome. Like the principal buildings of the executive and judicial branches, the Capitol is built in a distinctive neoclassical style and has a white exterior. Both its east and west elevations are formally referred to as fronts, though only the east front was intended for the reception of visitors and dignitaries.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
