An impossibly cute maltese doggie looks out at us with love and expectation and a hint of mischief in his eyes. Can you tell he's just been rolling around on the carpet, and that his hair-do is the result of a combination of puppy-frolic and some winter-time static electricity?
Hey.
When all else fails, go hug a dog.
Preferably one that won't bite your legs off, or in this case, ankles.
In all seriousness, I cannot recommend strongly enough the benefits of a little pet-love in your life. These are trying times, I think most of us can agree. But .. haven't "times" been trying a lot, down through the ages? Good heavens, so many examples ... in my own lifetime, for sure, and my parents' ... and all through history.
But I think one of the things that keeps us bumping along is love. If you're lucky enough to have lots of human love in your life, bingo. But some of us don't. And for those ... hey ... go hug a doggie!!
Guaranteed to make you feel better!!!
Loosely, very loosely based on one of my own photos of my dog, Buddy.
Not created using Artificial Intelligence programs.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
