"Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail."

Definitely good advice from Mr. Emerson. However, in this case the path leads right by a pretty bird bath and to a surprisingly comfortable garden bench. Relaxing on the bench for a few minutes and watching the birdies as they come and go and take a drink or enjoy a splash in the cool water on a warm day isn't such a bad place to be. So, Mr. Emerson ... this time, I don't think I'll take your advice. Thanks just the same!!
I hand-painted this image in Corel Painter … very loosely based on my own photography … it's not from stock or public domain. It was not created using any Ai / Artificial Intelligence programs.
Fine art and product purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... it will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."

Please be aware that we are currently experiencing a glitch in our system. The images in...
