Honored to announce that "White Adirondacks" tied for first place out of 666 votes (or came in 2nd or whatever, lol) in the Fine Art America contest "Light Streaks or Light Brushes" on May 17, 2017. My thanks to the contest administrator, Regina Blankenship and to everyone who voted for my image. Congratulations to the other winners!
The rocky coast of Main, the days-end light beaming through the clouds, the water lapping at the shore, and two Adirondack chairs set just so ... ready for us to breathe deep and enjoy another evening's fall. All we need are our glasses of wine and the dogs ... ahhh. Life is good!!

...so wonderful Lois - "to sleep per chance to dream." For many years I had a cabin (called "camps" in The Adirondacks) on the Sacandaga River, just south of Speculator. A five-hour drive drive from NYC. Stayed about two months there each year, changed my life -- moose, bear, black flies -- the air felt different -- the most beautiful time of my life. BTW - LOVE YOUR ART - HOPE LIFE IS TREATING YOU WELL - BILL

Bill thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your cabin sounds like heaven. Yes, the very air itself can feel different. We have a tiny ski cabin in the Laurel Highlands of PA and it is heaven. Many of my images are from there. It's magic!!! I hope you get to experience the kind of joy places like that bring us again sometime soon!!!! Yes, we're well here ... hope you are also!!!!!
