Description
A cluster of white roses against a dark vintage canvas creates a feeling of old world romance and nostalgia. The light from the window falls on them gently, adding an element of glowing mystique. What messages do they bring ... from whom ... and for whom? Ahh love ... the eternal mystery.
Hand sketched and painted in Corel Painter 2019 from my imagination with the Wacom Intuos 4 tablet, the art pen and The Romantic Roses digital brushes.

Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."

What a lovely fall bouquet , those roses are so pretty and on such a ravishing background! Love your work! :L
Lois Bryan replied:
Mary thanks so so much. Honest and truly, this one gave me fits. I must have painted and re painted it a zillion times. Then into Photoshop for tweak after tweak. Finally got the feel I was going for, but it was a struggle.

I always equate roses with romance........I must say though Lois this carries over into the 'Love' category.

So lovely, Lois! Love the roses and pussy willows. I feel kind of starved for flowers right now. Winter has arrived early and I can't wait until Spring!
Lois Bryan replied:
Thank you, Diane!!! I can wait for spring ... about February I start getting cranky ... I'm ready then!!
