Title
Woodland Phlox At Antietam
Artist
Lois Bryan
Medium
Digital Art - Digital Art / Photography Based Digital Hand-painting
Description
We peer through a clump of wild pink and purple and lavender woodland phlox that is so prevalent in our area in May. Beyond, our eyes rest on Burnside Bridge which crosses Antietam Creek in Sharpsburg, Maryland ... now part of Antietam National Battlefield Park. The bridge and the areas around played a heartbreaking role September 17, 1862 in the Battle of Antietam / Battle of Sharpsburg ... during our American Civil War ... the War Between the States.
This painting is based on one of my own photos which I used to loosely sketch and digitally paint using Corel Painter 2019 on a Wacom tablet, an art pen and a variety of beautiful digital brushes ... many from the popular Bob Ross categories.
NOT created by using AI - Artificial Intelligence.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
