About Lois Bryan
Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. I also love working completely freehand with no photo reference involved. All of which is allowing me to circle back to a semblance of my days of sketching and painting traditionally. Springtime Tallahassee never has blooming flowers either, despite being in Florida. They are either frozen (without snow) with the last dregs of winter or the first rains knock them all off. Featured on WHAT Interrobang. LF

It's always touch and go, every year ... but when they come out right, as they did in the year, here, they are magical!!!

Lois Bryan replied:
Dee, it is. But if you come, don't try this year ... looks like the bulk of the blossoms will be nipped by the extreme cold we're experiencing. Also ... you'll have to get up very early in the morning, as we id on this day, otherwise ... the crowds are bun-bumper!!!! ; ))
Angela Davies
Stunning scene and treatment, LF Nice to see because with the cold and snow may not happen this year! :(
Lois Bryan replied:
Thank you, Angie, yes, that's what I was thinking and why I decided to play with this one!! Fingers crossed that some of the other species that bloom later will still be okay.
