I was out chasing covered bridges one gray and overcast day in October of 2008, and as I tried to find our way back to the main road this beauty happened by. I'm going to open up my ignorance for all the world to see when I say I don't think it's common to see Longhorn cattle in rural Pennsylvania. Found her in a pasture somewhere between Everett and Breezewood.
Image taken with the Nikon D40x and the 18-135mm Nikon/Nikkor lens. Shutter speed 1/160, ap 5.6, exp 0.00, iso 800.

By the way, there's a great little covered bridge near Hopewell, not far from Everett and Loysburg Gap at the opening of Morrison's Cove.
Lois Bryan replied:
A very late thank you, Christian. I've found a couple of covered bridges just sough of Breezewood ... not sure if I knew of one near the area you're describing. Will have to look into it. There's an awesome website that lists all of Pennsylvania's covered bridges!!
