Description

Driving home from a model home shoot in Delaware one early summer's evening, I passed this glorious country lane leading off the main road. My thoughts went into overdrive, imagining the gracious farm house and barns that must be hidden just around the bend in the distance. Of course I couldn't drive down this wonderful country road, but what fun it would have been to turn in here and have my Mom and Dad sitting in the kitchen, waiting supper just for me.

Image taken with the Nikon D300 and the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens. The image of the clouds was taken from the road in front of my own home in Maryland with the Nikon D7000 and the 70-200mm f/2.8 and added in Photoshop CS5. The faint hint of texture is from Leslie Nicole's Artiste collection.

Very nice composition! All your efforts really paid off. I especially like how the clouds on the right seem like rain clouds moving across the background towards the left as if to say "stormy times ahead".
