A wild bunny discovered enjoying his evening meal (our lawn) on a warm summer's evening. I was actually on my way out to the garden to see if I could get some butterfly snaps when I saw this little cutie and got off a few shots. Image taken with the Nikon D300 and the 70-300mm VR Nikon lens, July 10, 2012. My thanks to Princess of Shadows at Deviant and to Leslie Nicole of French Kiss for the textures.

Really adorable capture. I love the dark black on the top and how it is balanced by the intense greens. Makes it pop!!! Thanks for the kind words about my Kotor Rooftops photo :)
Lois Bryan replied:
A very late but grateful thank you, Elizabeth ... it was evening and this part of the house faces west ... the light was slanting right in ... I loved how the ears picked it up!!! LOL!!!!

Nice framing besides everything else! A wonderful captured moment! voted
Lois Bryan replied:
Thank you, Rory, the black in the background is actually the forest behind our house which was already in shadow ... the bars are bars of the wrought iron fence!!

Lois Bryan replied:
Mick, thank you ... yes, the angle has bunny on the crest of a little hill ... the background is the dark forest ... didn't notice the date thing, lol ... fat fingered I guess!!! Thanks for pointing that out, by the way, I'd probably never have noticed!!!! ( where's my purse??? ) BHAHAHH!!!!
