October of 2014 update ... it's with true sadness that I report this beautiful old barn has been demolished.
Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence. I also love working completely freehand with no photo reference involved. All of which is allowing me to circle back to a semblance of my days of sketching and painting traditionally. Love this image, Lois. Beautiful, deep blue contrasting with the amber field. You always manage to find interesting places to shoot. I'll bet the countryside of Pennsylvania is full of places like this that haven't been torn down. Around here there just isn't that much. L/A

Hi Scott ... thank you ... yes, there are lots of fascinating old barns in the area. I have such a love of them ... am a big architecture fan. I was in Indiana a few times many years ago ... and remember lots of open space ... lots of fields ... but you're right ... don't recall many barns.
