About Lois Bryan
Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence. I also love working completely freehand with no photo reference involved. All of which is allowing me to circle back to a semblance of my days of sketching and painting traditionally. Sandra, thank you!!!!! This is one of those shots, that my eye caught as I was crossing the street, and I fired one shot at. Usually when I see something, I'm all about the light and the angle and I can make a 3 year old fall asleep while I take 20 shots. This was a single!!! LOL!!!

thanks so much, Julie ... the town of Harpers Ferry has an awful lot of history to it ... from John Brown during the civil war ... to some pretty devastating floods. A lot of the town has preserved historical elements (including a WAY COOL night time ghost tour, lol!!) ... but the town itself is lived in and loved by its residents to this day!!!! Worth a visit if you're ever in the area.
