As the August days skitter by, we find the teeth of the summer sun and the oppressive heat beginning to dull and our thoughts turn to the welcome relief of cooler temperatures. Leaves on the trees begin to look a bit duller, some few here and there even begin to turn and drop. The skies and the light is different than it was just a few weeks ago.
Autumn is on her way.
The days and months of crisp air, blue skies and amazing, brilliant color are coming, and I for one am grateful.
This image was captured at one of my favorite spots, the Juniata Crossings Country Mercantile in Everett, PA in October of 2010.

Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence.
