A crisp red apple with splashes of yellow and gold sits in the light ... tasty and delicious ... and waiting to be part of our breakfast. Not only tastes good, but good for you too!
For most of my adult life I've sworn by the Golden Delicious apple. It's funny ... some people prefer Nikons over Canons or Fords over Chevys. Well, at least the Ford and Chevy people used to go at it .. not sure they still do. Anyway. Golden Delicious. I even baked my pies with them (still do, when I bake). And the arguments can get especially hot and heavy when talking about the best apples for our pie baking.
But recently the Golden Delicious was unavailable in my store and by some chance, I stumbled on the Honeycrisp. Must say!!! I do like them!! Haven't baked a pie with them yet, though.
Next time you're in the store ... give them a try!!

Please be aware that we are currently experiencing a glitch in our system. The images in...
