It's a rare autumn when all Mother Nature's elements work together in harmony ... mixing just the right amounts of sun and rain, wind and temperature. And then on that day when color and light come together to form that perfect moment in time, and you happen along to bear witness ... a little voice inside just wants to sing "Oh Happy Day." This particular image was captured on just such a day, mid October, 2012.

This is a photography based digital art image ... captured with the Nikon D300 and the 18-200mm vr Nikkor lens. It was edited in at least two versions of Photoshop, Capture NX2, Photomatix Pro and Corel Painter 11 to give it a light painterly look.

Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced.
