Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I don't know if you're aware but we have a monthly award here at Fine Art America ... it's for The Artistic Merit Award (also known as the Tony award) and I was the award winner for the month of September ... and I passed it on this month to Mia DeLode ... and made this little image up to honor the physical award itself, which goes from honoree to honoree.

Lois Bryan replied:
Thank you very much Mary Lynn!!!! I think Tony represents us all ... represents everyone, really. It was fun to create the image. I'd actually painted the steps and columns from my imagination several months ago. Then plopping Tony down there and the story just sort of wrote itself!!!
