Artist's Description
Here in the mid-east coast - mid-atlantic area we're slowing going through the motions of enjoying autumn, watching it fade, and anticipating that first snow fall. I know a lot of us really dread those first fluffy white flakes, but for me, it's always a time of excitement and fun. Here she is in all her glory ... a little disappointed in the pitiful accumulation ... but she seems to have a hopeful glint in her eye that more snow might be on its way.
A glorious show dog, Sadie stands in her usual proud stance in a field of rapidly disappearing snow one sunny morning after the year's first light snowfall. A northern breed, the Samoyed is never happier than when surrounded by the cold, fluffy white stuff.
A loving, intelligent breed, she knows that here on top of Blue Knob Mountain in Claysburg, Pennsylv...
About Lois Bryan
Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. Please be aware that we are currently experiencing a glitch in our system. The images in...

After reading your description I can no longer look at this photograph as an image of a Samoyed. In actuality she is a 4 legged loving member of your family and is entitled to all of the right and privileges as any 2 legged member. She is absolutely Gorgeous! What a delight it must be to watch her dashing through the snow.
