A capture of the magnificent state capital building of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg. Taken on a late morning in June of 2010 as storm clouds slowly drifted off.

I decided to give the original a hint of a thick, handmade paper texture to enhance the already heavily textured look of the image, and decided to add it separately rather than replacing the original. Original image captured with the Nikon D300 and the 18-200mm vr Nikkor lens and treated to lots of edits in Photoshop and Photomatix Pro for a crisp, hdr look. A hint of digital texture was added in Corel Painter 11 for a painterly feel.
