A beautiful Eastern Willet birdie splashes down in the surf of North Carolina's Outer Banks on a summer afternoon. The day after hurricane Jose's appearance in the area, which churned the waters well, there are sure to be extra goodies rising from the sands for the Willet's lunch.
Image captured at Corolla in September of 2017. Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
