A blue ceramic bowl, filled with ripe and ready golden delicious apples, sits on the kitchen counter. The sunset's brilliant oranges glowing through the window spark a color combination that makes the fruit almost too pretty to eat.
But you know the best recipe for apple pie ... a never fail delight that will put a smile on the face of every member of your family. So ... it's one for slicing and eating, but the rest of those yellow beauties go into your prize-winning flaky crust. It's going to be a good night!!
Image created entirely from my imagination as I was swishing pixels around for the fun of it ... not photo based or even referenced. The bowl, which is an odd boat-like shape, is taken from memory ... one that belonged to my mom. Hand-painted in Corel Painter 2019 with a Wacom tablet and art pen stylus, utilizing many beautiful brushes.
