On a sunny autumn afternoon, we're surprised to find a tiny tabby kitten sitting among the pumpkins and mums at the farmer's market. Though we'd normally expect to see a black cat during Halloween, the kitty's soft orange fur makes him the perfect addition to the display. Do we hear purring?
This image which was hand-painted digitally, is loosely inspired by two of my own photographs, not from stock or public domain. It is the fourth version published here on my website. The first is "Pumpkins and Mums," which does not include the kitten. The two others, "Tiny Hopeful Kitten" and "Little Lost Kitten," are close ups of the kitty.
