Description
A tiny snail makes his way down a geranium leaf in the soft rain of a humid summer afternoon.
Sitting out on the front porch a few years ago, listening to the dreary wet drips falling from a grey sky, I happened to glance over at the potted geranium beside me and discovered this tiny guy. I grabbed my camera, hoping for some fun macro shots, but the light was miserable, the colors completely washed out and Mr. Snail himself was no prize winner. No elaborate curved and colorful spiral shell ... just a little guy ... going about his business. Not unlike most of us. I wondered what he would do when he got to the tip of the leaf. But the rain had started falling harder, and Mr. Snail was still moving at a snail's pace, so I decided to get back into the house, leaving my new friend to figure things out for himself. No doubt he knew the drill, whatever it was.
Captured in August 2014 with the Nikon D7000 and the Nikkor 105mm.
Not created using Artificial Intelligence / AI.
As with all of my images, purchases of wall art and products will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... wall art will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
