Description
A cherry red rose ... her petals coated in a thin crust of frost, awaits the morning the sun to bring her warmth and the melting of the cold. It's a risky business, blooming late in the season. One never knows when the late night fogs and mists will turn frigid.

A Frosted Rose and preserved for Eternity.. Nicely done Lois!
Lois Bryan replied:
Thanks so much Gary ... the story behind this one is, I shot a frosted rose long, long ago before I even knew what a shutter or an aperture was with my little point and shoot. I've wanted to try again ... with the tripod ... and I finally remembered to tell my husband not to cut the roses back yet ... and finally got myself out there to give it a try. Not as frosty as I'd have liked, but it'll do 'till next year, lol!!!!! Thank you again!!!
