Description
The tiniest of new white roses grow sturdily in a weathered old clay pot. At their base clusters of lavender colored berries add their fragrance to the already heavenly scents of the roses themselves. Tied around them all is a pair of ivory tassels. Did those once decorate the boots of a little majorette as she marched up hills and down dales in summer parades? We'll never tell!
In addition to innocence, white roses often represent several other qualities such as purity, youth, new beginnings and everlasting love and as such are often seen in the bouquets of brides.
"Innocence" is a cropped version of an old favorite, also available here ... "White Roses In Old Clay Pot."
Image hand-painted, digitally, and very loosely inspired by one of my own photos. Painted in Corel Painter with a Wacom tablet, the art pen, and a variety of beautiful brushes.
NOT created by using AI - Artificial Intelligence.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
