So happy to announce that "Red Shed In The Snow" tied for third place in the 5/8/22 Black And White and Red All Over contest held by the Red Group. Many thanks to contest administrator, Candee Lucas and to everyone who voted for my image. Congratulations to the other winners!!

Honored that "Red Shed In The Snow" tied for second place in the "Red With Black and - or White" contest January 25, 2016. My thanks to everyone who voted for my image, and to the administrator, Susan Maxwell Schmidt. Congratulations to the first place winner, Joy McAdams, and to my co-second place winners, Barbara McMahon, Anna Elia, and Janet Lavida.

A small red maintenance shed wearily braves another mean-cold wintery blast from Mother Nature on top of Blue Knob Mountain, all seasons resort, in Claysburg, PA. Driving up this hill, only one of many, is a lot easier with 4-wheel drive vehicles!

Original photographic image taken with the Nikon D300 and the 18-200mm vr Nikkor lens in December of 2012. Treated to edits and a bit of painterly magic in Photoshop CS5 and 6 and Corel Painter 11.
