Description
After a frigid, snowy night on top of Blue Knob Mountain … a walk along the path from the cabin will bring you to a world that you've never seen … and may never see again. The golden glow of the morning sun as she sifts through the frigid frosty air contrasts against the glowing blues of the ice-coated grasses and leaves. All working together to create an instant of magic … something only you see … and that you'll never forget. Blink, and it'll be gone.
This image is another version, and kind of a combination, of images I posted previously. One is "Frosty Sunrise On The Mountain" which is in tones of golds and oranges … and the other is "Silver Sunrise" in tones of palest blues. Under normal circumstances, they would be grouped together in my "Versions" collection, here on my website. However we are currently experiencing a situation where we, the artists and photographers, have no control over the order of our images in our collections. Because of this, i decided to delete that collection which had become a confused … situation. If you would like to see the other two images and they don't come up in my search, just send me a note through the site and I'll happily send links to you.
Painted freehand digitally exclusively from my imagination in Corel Painter with a Wacom tablet and art pen stylus, utilizing many beautiful brushes. Though imaginary, Sunrise In Silver And Gold was inspired by the amazing beauty we see in winter on top of Blue Knob Mountain in Claysburg, PA.
NOT created by using AI - Artificial Intelligence.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
