Description

As summer draws to a close and autumn approaches, the brilliant emerald greens of the landscape begin to dull. Soon the land will glow with oranges and golds, purples and scarlets ... but before that, the muted beginnings of the rusty shades have their own beauty. Especially on a day when the skies are filled with layers of cumulous clouds overlaying the sapphire blues of the heavens beyond.

Image created from one of my own photos along the road in West Virginia. Sketched lightly and digitally hand-painted with the Constable Clouds and Bob Ross brushes in Corel Painter 2019 on a Wacom Intuos tablet and art pen.
