Description
A walk after dinner … it's a ritual that has always been a part of my life. It's a time to think, to plan, and sometimes just to appreciate, if alone … and a time to converse and share ideas, if with others. But one thing that is always the same is the wonder I feel as the light changes and night comes on. The paths and walkways so familiar to me in the daylight take on the look of another world as the scene shifts, moment by moment, and darkness falls.
This image was digitally hand-painted in the Escape Motions painting program, Rebelle, with rich thick oil brushes using a Wacom tablet and art pen / stylus. I loosely based it on a sketch of one of my own photos (not from stock or public domain). This is a new version of an old favorite, also included in my portfolio here, "Taking A Stroll At Dusk."
Fine art and product purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... wall art will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
