Description
Very happy to announce that "Flowers For Maria" won First Place in the 6/13/20 Fine Art America contest "Still Life Florals Avatar" hosted by the Still Life Florals Group. My sincere thanks to the contest admin, Cynthia Harris, and everyone who voted for my image. Congratulations to the other winners!
A crystal vase filled with a profusion of springtime flowers fresh from the garden. The purples of the hyacinths and the perky yellows and whites of the daffodils are the perfect color compliments for each other in the landscape ... and even more so when cut and lovingly arranged in a favorite vase. Now ... where shall we put them?
Image hand-painted, digitally, and very loosely based on one of my own photos. Painted in Corel Painter with a Wacom tablet, the art pen, and lots of beautiful brushes.
NOT created by using AI - Artificial Intelligence.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."
