Description

A speed limit sign, cautioning drivers to maintain a safe speed, stands along a country road, trying to do its duty. Around it are two pretty white tail deer, very common in our area. There are often human walkers of all ages, runners, school children, wild turkeys, skunks, ground hogs, squirrels and more in the area. The sign, which precedes a quiet residential neighborhood, cautions drivers to slow down. It's a very small sign.

This is the second image in a series designed to encourage individuals to obey our local speed limit. It was hand-painted digitally using two of my own photographs (not from stock or "public domain") as a general guide and starting point, in Corel Painter.
